Doug Glenn is a retired sales professional and Cramerton native. A graduate of Appalachian State University, he returned “home” after residing in the Winston Salem area. It was during the 2015 Centennial Celebration and a visit with long time family friend Ted Reece that his interest in the history of Cramerton was piqued. After swapping stories with Mr. Ted and other residents it became clear to him that future generations needed to know the unique story of Cramerton and the incredible man it is named for. He and his wife Jean now reside in Gastonia, but he maintains close ties with Cramerton also serving as President of the Cramerton Senior Citizens Association. Doug encourages current and former residents to become members and help share the story of Cramerton.
